Common Questions

Does this work for systems other than D&D 5e?

Not currently. Gelatinous Vault is built around D&D 5e mechanics. Support for other systems is on the roadmap.

Do I need to create an account to try it?

Yes, but anyone can create a free account and start using the product immediately. Free accounts are limited to one campaign and one encounter.

Will my data be saved on the free plan?

Yes. Your campaigns, encounters, and custom monsters are always saved, regardless of plan tier.

What happens if I cancel my paid plan?

Your account reverts to the free tier and you'll only be able to access your first campaign and encounter, but all your data stays put.

Is there a mobile app?

Not at the moment. Gelatinous Vault is a web app, optimized for desktop and tablet. A mobile app is on the longer-term roadmap.

Where does the monster data come from?

Monster data comes from the Wizards of the Coast OGL (Systems Reference Document). You can also create and save fully custom monsters.
